I am looking for a Wedding Photographers Assistant to help me photograph weddings throughout 2017 and onwards. Ideally you would be a car driver, have your own equipment, some experience would be great but not entirely necessary as you can improve with every wedding. I would expect you to know your way around your camera though. Obviously you’d be expected to work weekends and travel to locations. You may have to work by yourself for part of the day too. And of course the days are long and exhausting, mostly. Sounds good huh?
Experience and education
You’ll learn how to work fast and under pressure. You will get to visit some lovely parts of the country and amazing venues. Eat great food and drink lots of coffee. Learn how to create dramatic and dynamic shots quickly and efficiently. And learn how to use your surroundings in very clever ways. Portraiture and off-camera flash techniques.Low light photography and still life. Loads of stuff! Ideally, you’ll also bring your own creativity and personality to the job. Being a wedding photographers assistant is a really great way to accelerate your development as a photographer.
How to apply
Simply send me an email with your contact details, experience, and why you want the job. I will need to see some of your work of course. Any web links to your portfolios would be great. This position is not full time but you will be needed for wedding days throughout the year. I hope to hear from you soon.
