Quintessential English Wedding in Northamptonshire
Northamptonshire weddings are my specialty. And Quintessential English Weddings in Northamptonshire are really special too. Think, hay bails, marquees, Pimms, and afternoon tea.
Because I’m typically british I have to mention the weather once again. It was supposed to pour all day. I feared the worse but for once the rain didn’t appear as expected and Richard & Michelle were bathed with warm sunshine for most of the day. I told them I could guarantee good weather and once again I delivered.
Again, selfishly I was looking forward to my ‘Matador’ pie for dinner, generously provided by the bride and groom to keep me going. In fact all the guests were having pies. It was another unique twist on the traditional english wedding breakfast. And it proved to be a winner! There’s a photograph somewhere of one greedy boy with two!
I really enjoyed what proved to be a really relaxed, intimate, and beautiful english wedding in Northamptonshire. What more could you want- classic cars, marques, local pies, and local beer. I was privileged to photograph the couple at Polebrook Hall which is a first and perhaps a last too. And finally I really enjoyed working with this lovely couple and their lovely families. I wish I could have stayed late into the evening but I was due to leave for a much needed holiday in the morning and wanted to get the days photographs backed up before I left.
