Normanton Church is one of the prettiest wedding ceremony venues in the UK. So it’s not difficult to see why so many couples choose to get married here. Being set on an outcrop overlooking Rutland water it offers your guests a unique perspective on your wedding. Furthermore it’s got a lot of competition too as Rutland is a very popular county to get married in due to many amazing Rutland wedding venues. Katy & Michael chose Normanton church to host their Rutland Wedding. As always it was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer.
One of the most challenging aspects of being a wedding photographer and wedding videographer is that you never really know what to expect. This was also true for Katy & Michael’s Rutland wedding. Surprisingly what I didn’t anticipate was that the day would go without a hitch! Everyone was on time, the bride looked stunning, the groom wasn’t nervous, and the weather was glorious. It’s difficult to say what makes one wedding easier than another but sometimes everything just comes together. From a wedding photographers point of view it was a perfect day. At The William Cecil my good friend Murray from ‘The Acoustic Soul‘ entertained the guests while they sipped champagne and basked in the sunshine. The afternoon teas were delicious too. In the evening there was more entertainment provide by Rockaoke. I would highly recommend them to get your party started!
All in all it was a memorable Rutland wedding and I think it’s fair to say that everybody including myself had a great day.
