FAQ'S
ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS FOR THE WEDDING COVERAGE?
For weddings over 100 miles from Cambridgeshire there may be travel charges, and sometimes overnight accommodation is necessary. For weddings abroad, the client is responsible for organising and ensuring payment for flights, accommodation, meals and travel expenses when abroad.
WILL WE NEED A 2ND PHOTOGRAPHER?
We highly recommend a 2nd photographer if you have 150 guests or more. Spontaneous and memorable moments can happen simultaneously at different locations. A 2nd photographer will bring another perspective to the story of your day.
CAN WE PURCHASE THE DIGITAL NEGATIVES?
Yes, the DVD portfolios contain high resolution files of all your photographs in both colour and b/w. The DVD is presented with a license allowing you to print as many images as you wish.
DO YOU TAKE ANY FORMAL GROUP SHOTS AS WELL AS REPORTAGE?
Yes, of course, although we like to make this a fun and relaxed occasion - which means no stiff necks or forced smiles. We like to do these calmly and quickly so that you are free to enjoy your wedding.
DO WE NEED TO MEET BEFORE BOOKING?
I am happy to arrange a meeting but it isn't a requirement for me. I always meet wedding clients within 100 mile radius of my base in Cambridgeshire. A meeting does give you an opportunity to see printed examples of my work and to look at the type of album and print options available. Included with the booking forms is an info sheet where you can tell me all about your day. I would always contact the client the week before the wedding to confirm arrangements and discuss your wishes in detail.
WE WOULD LIKE TO BOOK, WHAT DO WE DO NEXT?
Just drop me an email or phone to check my availability for the date of your wedding and I will send you the booking form and info sheet to complete. A non-refundable booking fee of £300.00 paid by cheque, sent with your completed booking form confirms your date. This is then deducted from the total price, with the balance due on or before the wedding date.
DO WE CHOOSE WHICH IMAGES GO INTO OUR ALBUM?
Because I aim to tell the story of your day I usually design the album for you but I will send you a PDF of the finished album first so you can make any changes. Alternatively, you can specify which images you'd like included.
CAN YOU PHOTOGRAPH THE CEREMONY?
Whether I can photograph your own ceremony really depends upon the permission of those officiating the event - and this varies widely. I will always ask what the rules are before the event and even if they say I can't take any pictures during the ceremony I usually get away with one or two discreet frames.
